Mean, Median, Mode, Range and Outliers

Mean

add up all the numbers then divide by how many there are

Median

the number in the middle

Median ( for odds)

order your numbers from least to greatest then cross out the numbers till you get the one in the middle

Median (for evens)

order your numbers from least to greatest. Then cross out the numbers till you get in the middle with TWO medians. Do the mean to the two numbers you have left

Mode

the number that occurs most often

Outliers

the one that doesn't fit in with the rest

Range

subtract the smallest and the biggest number
